Birmingham & Midland Marine Services provide a range of tree and vegetation sector, Training and Safety & Access services to those companies working in the Arb sector over water.
Training includes Environment Agency approved DEFRA Occupational Water Safety and Rescue Training, including certificated CPD sessions to maintain the validity of existing qualifications, (Safe working near water and the critical DEFRA Module 1 ‘Annex ‘H’ syllabus’ course with in-water elements), DEFRA Module 2, ‘Water Rescue First Responder’ Workboat, and Powerboat training, and, from Autumn 2025 – A 1-day or 2-day, ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ course merged with an ‘Essential Outdoor First Aid’ qualification, that encompasses working near water and forestry (+F).
